My midwife appointment went very well. I gained 2 lbs, making my total weight gain 5 lbs. which we are pleased with at this point. Everything else checked out perfectly normal, and I'm measuring right at 22 weeks. I did mention the pelvic joint pain I've been having on the left side. I can no longer sit or lay on our couch and when I wake up during the night to go to the bathroom or to get out of bed... the pain is enough to keep me from putting much weight on it. After a few minutes... it works itself out, but stays a little on the sore side throughout the day. Denise said it is a little on the early side for that, but it will get worse. The pain is essentially bone grinding. But... I can handle it. No complaints here! And the lower back pain that was getting bad, is gone, thanks to the chiropractor. I've only gone three times, but it has helped tremendously! All good news here.
And tonight is a very special night in our home. Tonight is the return of Lost for its final season. Yes, its sad that Lost is considered a special night, but it is. The freelancer for the paper is also a Lost fan, so he'll be joining us this evening, as well. {Which is really good for me... Nathan can get all his Lost talk out of his system with Neil instead of me!}
