Nanny Kelly

You know how back in the day, people used to acquire last names based on their occupation... like Shoemaker or Smith. Well I have acquired a pre-first name based on my occupation. Nanny Kelly. Linda, Anya's mom, has been calling me Nanny Kelly for quite some time now. I believe she often uses this when she's talking about me to her family or friends or boss. And Anya now calls me Nanny. I love it. I really thinks its sweet. But today Nathan and I were walking through Target and hear, "Hi Nanny Kelly!" Ha. Seriously. And the funny part, I didn't think twice about it until the person I ran into asked if it bothered me being called Nanny Kelly. Apparently Nanny Kelly is sticking. This person is actually someone who I may also soon be nannying for... which will make the third person I've nannied/regularly babysat for who works for the Midland County ESA. I'd definitely say I'm making a name for myself in Midland. :)
