PT

I had my first physical therapy appointment today. My PT is great, and feels confident she can help me get this straightened out. She found significant gapping on the left side of my pelvis compared to the right side. Our plan is to strengthen the muscles so that the weight of the baby is being supported by my butt more so than all on my pelvis. I wish I could be going to both the chiropractor and the physical therapist. The chiropractor successfully took care of my lower back pain and can fix any misalignments, while the physical therapy strengthens the muscles for proper weight distribution. It would be great having both treatments working together, unfortunately, we just don't have the resources to do both right now. But that's life.

We certainly don't have two feet of snow, but we are getting some significant snow fall today and tomorrow. Only an inch or two has come down so far, but the roads are quickly getting slick. So I'll be staying inside the rest of the day!

OH... and Nathan finally got to feel the baby moving. Yesterday morning I laid in bed reading while Nathan continued to snooze. The baby kept moving and kicking. I was hesitant to wake Nathan because every other time we tried... the baby would either stop moving or it wouldn't be strong enough for Nathan to feel. Finally, I thought... I'm going to try again. With his eyes still closed, Nathan put his hand on my belly. Sure enough... we got a nice strong kick! I looked over at Nathan and his eyes popped open real big. It was a nice way to start our day.
